Collecting photos without losing your mind
The only thing you truly need from each family is one clear photo plus name, team and jersey number. A few tips that save re-dos:
- Ask for a photo where the player's face is clearly visible and well lit — game-day shots in uniform are ideal, but any recent photo works.
- Skip heavy filters. The illustration is drawn from the photo, so what you send is what gets drawn.
- Collect the fun stuff too: a favorite moment from the season and a fun fact make the card backs personal, and they're optional if a family runs dry.
- Send parents to how it works so they know what to expect — free preview, plain-English tweaks, art approved before anything prints.

Work back from banquet day
- 6+ weeks out — start collecting. Share the team code (or start gathering photos if you're coordinating). Chasing the last two families always takes longer than you think.
- 5 weeks out — run the builders. Every player designed and approved. Each run takes a few minutes; the free preview shows in about 20 seconds.
- 4–5 weeks out — orders in. Cards are made to order; most arrive in about 3–5 weeks all-in. The builder shows the live estimate before anyone pays.
- Inside 3 weeks — use rush. Rush production in the builder cuts the make time to days. It's the honest fix for a season that ended faster than planned.

🎨 Does every player really get their own design?
Yes. Each player's card is illustrated from their own photo, with their own name and number — a roster of twelve gets twelve different cards, not one team design twelve times.
🎟️ How does the 20% team discount work?
Grab a free team code in the card builder and share it. Every order placed with the code counts toward the team total; at 10+ packs, the code takes 20% off. Parents can order individually on the shared code — nobody has to front the whole team's money.
✅ Who approves each player's artwork?
Whoever runs that player through the builder — a parent doing their own kid, or the coordinator. Every design gets a free preview and up to 3 free re-illustrations per photo, and nothing prints until it's approved.
📸 What if one family's photo is blurry or missing?
Any recent photo where the face is clearly visible works — it doesn't have to be a game shot or even show a uniform. If the art doesn't land, plain-English tweaks and a photo swap are free.

Most orders arrive in about 3–5 weeks all-in, and the builder shows a live estimate before payment. Inside three weeks, add rush production — it cuts the make time to days. Estimates, not guarantees, so build in buffer.
